The Unsung Anchor
Mother’s Grace (அம்மா) — English
Before I knew the shape of the world,
I knew the rhythm of your heartbeat.
You carried my weight when I was nothing,
And watched me fly when I grew wings.
Your wrinkled hands hold stories of sacrifice,
Your quiet prayers shield me from the cold.
If God had a face that stayed awake all night,
It would look exactly like yours, Mother.
