  • 2 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Lemon, salt, olive oil

Let’s Cook — Step by Step

  1. Step 1 — Soften onions, garlic, carrots, and celery in olive oil.
  2. Step 2 — Add spices, tomatoes, and lentils.
  3. Step 3 — Add 1.2 litres of water or stock.
  4. Step 4 — Simmer 30 minutes until lentils dissolve.
  5. Step 5 — Season. Squeeze lemon over before serving.
