Parallel Lines
Connection / Relationship (உறவு) — English
We do not wear the same traditional ring,
Or share the heavy debts that seasons bring.
Yet whenever your sudden text appears,
It wipes away the dust of separate years.
Some ties are written in an older tongue,
Before the songs of moral right were sung.
A beautiful, unmeasured, secret grace,
That time and distance never can erase.
