Parallel Lines
Connection / Relationship (உறவு) — English
We do not wear the same traditional, golden ring,
Or share the heavy financial debts that seasons bring.
Yet whenever your sudden, simple text appears,
It instantly wipes away the heavy dust of separate years.
Some deep ties are written in an older, ancient tongue,
Before the narrow songs of moral right and wrong were sung.
A beautiful, unmeasured, completely secret grace,
That time and distance never can hope to erase.
