The Unbroken Mirror
Friendship (நட்பு) — English
We do not need a thousand words or a dramatic display,
To clear the heavy, dark clouds that block our day.
A simple, unprompted nod, a silent shoulder pat,
And all the modern, exhausting troubles we were looking at
Seem to instantly lose their terrifying, suffocating weight,
Locked safely outside of the mind’s iron, protective gate.
You are the unbroken mirror that shows me who I truly am,
Without the social judgment or the hollow, plastic sham.
