Echoes in the Void
Deep Sadness (சோகம்) — English
The hardest part is not the day you walked away,
Or the hot, bitter tears that had nothing left to say.
It’s the phantom sound of your old key in the door,
The forgotten clothes still lying on the bedroom floor.
I am surviving the ghost of what we used to be,
Locked inside a cell where I threw away the key.
You moved on like summer turning into fall,
Leaving me with nothing but shadows on the wall.
