The Cold Horizon
Pure Pain (சோகம்) — English
The sun still rises, and the crowded streets still hum,
But to my frozen spirit, the world has turned numb.
The hardest part is not the sudden, sharp goodbye,
But the heavy ghost of you that refuses to die.
I find your memory in the most ordinary spaces,
In the quiet coffee mugs and familiar crowded places.
You moved on like rain into a distant sea,
Leaving an endless, dry drought inside of me.
