Just a simple truth reflecting within your eyes.
The world outside is a busy, raging theater of war,
But with you, I forget what I was fighting for.
You do not try to fix the fractures in my past,
Or build a heavy mold you think my soul must cast.
You simply open your arms and let me breathe,
Allowing all my heavy winter swords to sheathe.
